2010 Most Influential...GAGA!

2010 WENT GAGA!

Is there a well-known movie star or public figure (either male of female) in the news whom you believe to be a fashion leader?

Born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germinate, Lady Gaga is today’s fashion leader.
Weather I like it or not Lady Gaga is a fashion leader. I say that because even though a lot of her fashion cries (for attention) come from other daring fashion leaders and Icons, she has the courage to wear the outrageous.
Her courage is giving others the courage to take fashion to the extreme, and thats what defines a fashion leader. Fashion had become bland and neutral, people had been taking fashion too seriously. It’s refreshing to see people having fun with fashion again. I mean, did our entertainers forget that they are to ENTERTAIN? Sure, your song is hot but give us something to look at! Lady Gaga has even inspired other entertainers to be more daring. You can find her inspiration in other entertainers such as Christina Agulaira, Katty Perry, Rihanna, & Nicki Minaj.
Being an entertainer is all about reinventing your self, keeping all eyes on you by putting on a great show, leaving them wanting more, being in the media, and inspiring others in some way or another. Lady Gaga doesn't reinvent herself every album, but every time she steps out the door. We can’t help but to notice her wether it be trendy or just outrageous, and whether we admit it or not, we all wait for her, to see what she’ll be wearing next. I mean, come on, the girl wore MEAT! What’s next? She controversial, but so is fashion. Fashion has always been controversial, with it’s introduction to the mini, revealing swimwear, and who could forget the Calvin ads. With Lady Gaga’s eccentric style I doubt that anyone would forget her as well.

Fashion Advice... Ideas On Cool Winter Coats

Any ideas on cool winter coats/jackets?

My mum's taking me out to buy a winter coat/jacket sometime this week, so I need some style advice on what to get! And it has to be a WARM kind of coat, because it gets really cold where I am (temperatures around -10 or -15 happen a couple of times a week, so it's not exactly warm). Something warm, comfortable and generally awesome! ^^
You can never go wrong with the trench look, even with a puff coat. The silhouette is flattering and it goes with everything, so even if you dress up or dress down you'll still be in-style & warm.

Fashion Advice...How to revamp your wardrobe

How can I revamp my wardrobe?

I used to used to be obsessed with buying clothing that was brand name. That was until I realized I had a closet full of ugly clothing. I've given away all of my graphic t-shirts just because there was simply no hope for them.
Now what do I do?
Should I give away all my clothing that really isn't cute to me? Or keep it and give it away as I buy new things?
I mean I do have some stuff that is cute, but the rest is just okay to me. I'm trying to change my style to more girly-preppy and less brand names like Aeropostale, Abercrombie, Juicy, Hollister, etc.

Reselling your unwanted clothing is a great idea, or by it being the holiday season you could donate them.

Brands tend to only be in style for the moment, therefore you don't get much wear out of them for the price that you spent. You should invest in basics, solid colors, & classics, ex. like a great little black dress that is timeless. Jeans and jackets without stuff plastered all over them so that you can pair them with other items, so that one pair of jeans could be like 6 different outfits. And accessories accessories...is the best way to reinvent your cloths.

The items below could be worn in soooo many different ways with the right accessories, including with prints like floral, animal, or vibrant colors.
