Closet Case "Wild Things"

Accused of being daring, stylish, fierce, sexy and irresistible.

I spotted these wild pair leopard heels while shopping with my friend and shopping partner in crime Sharee (trust me, her name will come up often in my Closet Cases, it is when I’m with her I do the most damage to my wallet)
As I was saying, I spotted these beauties at Bakers, and just my luck they were only $30, originally $125.
For anyone who knows me, know that I tend to steer clear of prints, I’m a classic shopper, I look for pieces that are simple and timeless, I may add a pop of color, but I’ve never been a trendy shopper. However; these heels were just too good of a price to pass up, and leopard can be timeless as well, if worn correctly. I decided it’s high time that I started playing with prints, and I’m happy to introduce my closet to the newest members of my wardrobe.

Here is what I paired them with on their first night out on the town. We attended one of my closest friend’s birthday party. It was a lingerie, masquerade party.

Mad Max

Milan based  designer who’s weighing in on the American market. Max Kibardin; though he’s been around for quite some time now, his shoes will make their first public appearance this month in Saks Fifth Avenue’s flagship store in New York. I can’t wait to see them up-close and personal. His shoes are gorgeous; modern with kept classics, and extreme style.  For now, you  can check out some of Fashion for Jo Jo’s fav picks by Max below. Men’s shoes are included but will not be available in the U.S. for a little while longer.
I must say, his shoes aren’t the only thing easy on the eyes, so is he. Enjoy.

"Commander In Chic" Look of the Day

The First Lady looked poised (as always) as she appeared on the Letterman Show yesterday. Wearing a color blocked emerald, blue and white dress by Preen (Pre-Fall 2012) and an Alexis Bittar brooch. I love her style, it's effortless but classic with the right touch of modern. She wears confidence well and that is the best accessory that a women can add to any garment.

Here are some of Fashion for Jo Jo's other fav picks by
Preen (Pre-Fall 2012)

For those of you admire the First Lady's style and would like to know how you can embody some of her stylish expertise, pick up the book "Commander In Chic by Mikki Taylor"

Our Review on June

Everyone is buzzing about the long awaited "Styled by June" June Ambrose show. Well, I've got my hands on episode 1 opening and I have to admit that I'm not quite sold on it (Yet). While June shined (naturally) it was VH1's desperate attempt to create drama between the assistants Eli and Rachel that rubbed me the wrong way. It just seemed so fake and scripted, especially the assistant Rachel (bad acting). (I like my fashion REAL)
Although; this is only the beginning, hopefully it gets better than this. I am a big fan of June's, and like I said, she was wonderful in the show, so I will continue to stay tuned in.

Watch the episode here, and let us know what you think.

Work It Coco

I absolutely love this White House Black Market commercial featuring Coco Rocha  she looks amazing and she's quick on her feet, who knew that her first love was dance. What a great idea for this commercial, because whenever it comes on, I can't take my eyes off it, not just because I love to see Coco get down in those heels, but also because the clothes are on point, they have some really nice pieces from the Work Kit Collection. Check out the behind the seans and the actual commercial, directed by Johan Renck.
