Describe your blog: My blog showcases my personal style, as well as featuring styles I like from other fellow bloggers in "What I Love Today" posts. I also do one-on-one spotlights with selected bloggers, models, or designers.

What made you decide to start a blog and how long have you been at it? I started my blog as a creative avenue for my passion of fashion. I wanted to use it to document my personal style, and from there, it has evolved into not only showcasing my personal style, but the personal styles of other bloggers, models, and designers out there in the industry. I will also be using my blog to showcase my skills as a stylist in the future. I've been at my blog for a little over a year, with the beginning of May marking my one-year anniversary.

Who would you say is your target audience? I've never really had a "target audience" in mind when I started my blog. I did it for me. Now that it has grown, I want to aim my blog at future potential clients when I become a stylist, to show not only my style, but styles of others (as inspiration), and to display clients that I have styled.

What is the one thing you love most about blogging? What I love most is that it truly satisfies me. Being a straight male that loves fashion is definitely in the minority in this industry, and I love that I have my own little corner where I can express my creativity and passion.

What challenges have you had when blogging? My biggest challenge is that of time. My blog is strictly a side hobby, which I fit in around working full-time, and having a family full-time. My outfit posts are done in real-time, so what you see in my post is what I'm wearing that day. I take my photos in the morning on my way to work, and usually edit photos and put together my blog on my lunch hour.

Do you have any future plans for your blog? I'm hoping to use it to launch my personal styling career.

What catches your eye about another man's style that would make you admit that they have style? Being that I have a passion for fashion, I'm always looking around at people when I'm out and about, or sitting somewhere in public. Men in particular (when dressed fashionably) tend to stand out, because not many do so nowadays. I'll notice patterns and textures, and especially the little things like shoes, bags, and accessories.

How would you describe your style? My style is part business-casual, part casual, part preppy, and part European. I try to draw from as many sources for my own personal style.

What is the compliment you most frequently get? From a physical standpoint, I always receive compliments about my eyes. From a style standpoint, I've received compliments that I have a very European vibe, and also compliments on my (fairly recent) collection of "funky" socks.

Who is your style icon(s)? I don't have any icon in particular.

What is your greatest source of inspiration? I'm very much inspired by fellow bloggers. I don't even limit myself to men's blogs. I think my personal style is heavily influenced by women's fashion. I probably never would have tried many things otherwise, like color mixing, blocking, even playing with different patterns and textures.

Let's talk cologne… what is your signature scent that draws in the bait? I actually don't have ONE favorite, but THREE favorites: Gucci by Gucci, Bleu de Chanel, and Bvlgari Man. Why limit myself? :)

What's the biggest trend right now for men? I think the biggest trend right now isn't actually a trend at all, but rather that men are increasingly becoming more and more interested in style, and wanting to look their best. It's a "trend" that I hope continues for a long time.

What is your favorite fashion decade? Why? I actually like the men's styles from around the 1920s through the 1950s. I really like the formality of what men wore in the time: the fedoras, the tailored suits. the wingtips. It's a great look for the fellas.

What is your favorite item you own in your closet right now? It's a toss-up between my black leather GUESS motorcycle jacket, or my thrifted Burberry trench coat. I LOVE them both.

What do you spend the most money on? Either shoes or blazers. I want to get as much wear out of them as possible, so I'm particularly choosy when it comes to them.

What is your favorite quotation (or make your own)? I don't know where it came from, but I've seen it a lot on the web: "Men in suits are to women what lingerie on women are to men." Men should always try to dress well.

I must know, what is your take on Jordans? Personally, I like the more classic ones, and would love to own a pair.

What is it that you want your readers to get from viewing and reading your blog, and what do you want them to remember about you? I want to inspire my readers, whether it be that they find a new blog to follow, or they try something new with their own style because of something I tried, or a spotlight tried. I want them to remember me for my personal style as well as my desire to share other bloggers with the world.

What's on your style wish list right now? Most recently, Burberry's Spark sunglasses collection. I want them all.

How do you feel about trends in men's fashion? Do you gravitate towards them, or are you more of a classic gentleman? I'm definitely more of a classic gentleman, but try to incorporate some trends into my style, whether it be a pattern or a color.

What is your definition of SWAG or a Gentleman? My definition of a gentleman is all-encompassing. It has every bit to do with his dress as well as his attitude and demeanor. A gentleman is an all-around classy guy.

Favorite designers, brands, and stores? Designers: Burberry, Kenneth Cole, Michael Kors, DKNY, Perry Ellis. Brands: Levi's, Diesel, St. John's Bay, Dexter, Saddlebred, Calvin Klein. Stores: thrift stores, Belk, JC Penney, Target, Kohl's.

Do you tend to dress your mate? Not really. I'll offer a suggestion when she asks.

If you could give one piece of style advice, what would it be? Always keep your style true to yourself. If there are trends that you don't like, don't feel obligated to follow them. Ultimately, the one person you have to please is yourself.
